  1. Who we are

    This Privacy Policy explains how DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES OF AMERICA, INC. (“Digitech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit digitechtalent.com and any pages that link to this Policy (the “Site”), contact us, or send us information (e.g., résumés/CVs).

    By using the Site or submitting information, you agree to this Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

  2. Scope

    This Policy applies to:

    • Visitors to our Site (including contact and inquiry forms).
    • Talent and candidates who send us CVs, portfolios, or availability.
    • Clients and prospective clients who request information.

    Services we deliver to clients are governed by separate, signed agreements. If we launch portals, apps, or recruiting events with additional privacy terms, those will apply in addition to this Policy.

  3. Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post changes here and update the “Effective date.” Your continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the revised Policy.

  4. What we collect

    The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

    Information you provide directly

    • Contact details: name, email, phone, company, role/title, country/state.
    • Content you submit: messages, résumé/CV, LinkedIn URL, skills, experience, compensation preferences, work authorization, availability, and other materials you choose to share.
    • Event/meeting info: registrations, preferences, feedback, survey responses.

    Information collected automatically (via the Site)

    • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language, referring/exit pages, timestamps.
    • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, scroll depth, form engagement.
    • Approximate location (derived from IP address).

    Information from third parties

    • Public sources and social platforms (e.g., public LinkedIn profile data you choose to share with us).
    • Referrals from partners, clients, or candidates.
    • Service providers that help us with analytics, email distribution, CRM, security, and form handling.
  5. Cookies and similar technologies

    We use cookies and similar technologies to:

    • Run the Site and remember choices (strictly necessary/functionality).
    • Measure traffic and performance (analytics).
    • Improve content and marketing relevance (where permitted).

    Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, some features may not work. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

  6. How we use personal information

    We use personal information to:

    • Respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and provide requested information.
    • Evaluate candidates for roles with Digitech or our clients; share candidate profiles with clients and authorized partners as part of recruiting and placement.
    • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and our services.
    • Analyze Site usage and email engagement to improve content and user experience.
    • Send updates about roles, services, events, or resources, consistent with your preferences and applicable law (you can unsubscribe anytime).
    • Enforce our Terms and comply with legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention, recordkeeping, sanctions and export controls).
    • Create aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized insights for business purposes.
  7. How we share information

    We may share personal information with:

    • Clients and prospective clients for recruiting, screening, interviews, and placement (only as relevant to a role).
    • Affiliates and subsidiaries that support recruiting and delivery.
    • Service providers (e.g., hosting, security, analytics, email and CRM vendors, applicant tracking or form tools) under contract and only for our business purposes.
    • Event and content partners when an event or resource is co-hosted and you register for it.
    • Professional advisors (legal, accounting, compliance).
    • Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
    • Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as permitted by law.

    We do not sell personal information for money. Some states treat certain advertising/analytics uses of cookies as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. See the U.S. Addendum for opt-out options.

  8. International transfers

    We are U.S.-based and may process or store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses) to protect personal information during transfers.

  9. Retention

    We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, including:

    • Ongoing recruiting or business relationships.
    • Compliance with legal, tax, and audit requirements.
    • Exercise or defense of legal claims.

    When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in line with our retention practices.

  10. Security

    We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is 100 percent secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@digitechtalent.com.

  11. Your choices

    You have choices regarding how we use your information:

    • Email preferences: Use the unsubscribe link in our emails or contact us.
    • Cookies: Manage through your browser or consent tools.
    • Recruiting data: You can ask us to update or delete your candidate profile (subject to legal and legitimate business requirements).
    • Global privacy rights: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a portable copy of your data. See li 14 and the U.S. Addendum below.
  12. Children

    The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

  13. How to exercise your rights

    Email us at privacy@digitechtalent.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Please tell us what you are requesting (e.g., access, correction, deletion, portability, objection). We may request information to verify your identity and your relationship with Digitech, and we will respond according to applicable law.

U.S. Addendum (CPRA / State Privacy Laws)

This Addendum supplements the Policy for U.S. residents where state laws (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia) grant specific rights.

  1. Categories we may collect (past 12 months)

    • Identifiers: name, email, phone, IP address, online identifiers, city/state/country, employer and title.
    • Professional/Employment info: résumé/CV details, skills, certifications, work authorization, availability, compensation preferences.
    • Internet/Network activity: device/browser data, pages viewed, interactions, timestamps.
    • Inferences: role fit or skill tags derived from your submissions and interviews.
    • Geolocation: approximate location from IP.

    We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, except limited work-related data a candidate may voluntarily provide (e.g., diversity or disability information) where allowed by law and used only for permitted purposes.

  2. Sources

    You; your devices; public sources (e.g., LinkedIn you choose to share); referrals; service providers.

  3. Purposes of use

    See Section 6 above (responding to inquiries, recruiting and placement, operations, security, analytics, compliance, communications, and de-identified analytics).

  4. Disclosures for business purposes

    We disclose the categories above to: clients, affiliates, service providers, advisors, authorities, and transaction counterparties as described in Section 8.

  5. “Sale” / “Sharing” / Targeted advertising

    We do not sell personal information for money. Some states consider certain third-party analytics/advertising cookies a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” You can opt-out by: (1) adjusting cookie settings to allow only essential cookies; and/or (2) emailing privacy@digitechtalent.com with “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the subject. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.

  6. Your state privacy rights

    Subject to exceptions, you may have the right to:

    • Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
    • Correct inaccuracies.
    • Delete personal information.
    • Portability: obtain a copy in a portable format.
    • Opt-out of “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising as noted above.
    • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

    How to exercise: email privacy@digitechtalent.com (and include your state of residence). We will verify your request and respond within required timeframes. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

  7. Authorized agents (CA and others)

    If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity or confirm the request directly with us.

  8. Retention

    See Section 10. We retain only as long as necessary for the purposes disclosed, legal obligations, and legitimate business needs.
